Just watched the film for the first time. These bodybuilding athletes have more heart and professional expressionism than many body builders I have ever met. I hope that their dreams have come true. I believe they have the key driving force to be champions. Fantastic film. A must see by all body building enthusiasts.

why are they so much smaller and more natural lookin than us bodybuilders?

      • Carl

Your answer lies in your question itself, “natural”.

I can really relate to his situation. I am also a bodybuilder, under 70kg, and want to compete soon but can’t due to financial reasons. Not enough food, supplements are easy to obtain here but are extremely overpriced (when a tub of whey costs 75-100$), gym membership problems, just like him.
He didn’t give up on his dream, so won’t I!

I’m not a fan of muscle worship, but this was so much more than bodybuilding. I really thought this documentary was amazing, it moved something inside of me.

Afghanistan is more than war yet still torn asunder by it. It was great to see another side of this amazing country!!
