Ancient Mysteries: Quest For The Fountain of Youth

More than 20 years after accompanying Christopher Columbus on his second excursion to the New World, Spanish explorer Juan Ponce de Leon set out on his own expedition in search of, it was said, the mythical Fountain of Youth.

Instead, he discovered Florida. But what if his motivations were more material?

    Thumbs up to Lenard Nimoy!

But the rest of the Doc blows…its a bunch of uneducated hillbillies saying what they ‘think’ happened…there is no real evidence shown. Only conjecture which anybody can come up with on their own.

      Dear Mr. James,
Did you actually watch the documentary?

Which of the Phd’s., Historians, Professors or Jesuit Priest was included in your “bunch of uneducated hillbillies”?

      There was no “conjecture”.
It was clearly stated that only the “Italian/Spanish” historian, Martyr, attributed the “Fountain of Youth” idea to Ponce de Leon and subsequently reiterated by Herrera and continued throughout the “Rewritten History” (Part 5) for many other reasons.

But yes, Leonard Nimoy is always a good narrator.
