    Deborah 13: Servant of God

A documentary about 13-year-old Deborah Drapper, who, unlike other British teens has never heard of Britney Spears or Victoria Beckham. She has been brought up in a deeply Christian family and her parents have tried to make sure she and her ten brothers and sisters have grown up protected from the sins of the outside world.

Deborah is a bright, confident girl who has big ambitions for her life and the film spends a summer with her as she ventures out in the world to see what life outside her family could be and starts putting her beliefs forward to a wider audience.

The funniest part of the documentary was when she said that they wanted to let God close the womb. :))))))

Wow…that poor mother at min. 29 who was complaining about the puppet show…she never heard what was said…it would of been cruel to tell her kids to go home and think about the “bad news” of the fact that they have violated God’s perfect law and a good judge doesn’t let violators walk scott free…but that puppet show revealed a really serious problem we are carrying around; however, they shared with those kids the “good news” also and that is Jesus Christ saw our problem of being law breakers and knew that God demands a blood sacrifice to cover sin, so good news is Jesus Christ came to this earth and provided Himself as the sacrifice by dying on the cross to pay the penalty for us.

God the Father looked down on this act of substitutionary love and agreed that those of us who will place our faith in Christ’s sacrificial death in our place on the cross that we can be judicially set free and find forgiveness for our sins…the Bible says that this good news is foolishness to those who are perishing (even well meaning mothers that don’t want their sensibilities)

13 year old girls in England sharing this wonderful truth with others it causes my heart to jump with joy.

“You would have to need help to believe something so stupid.”

Um… Hello? Can you prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that God did it? No. You have a codex. That isn’t proof.

Growing up without tv was GREAT, best thing my mother could have done for us, though this wasn’t realized till later in life.

She’s little pretentious and thinks very highly of herself, which is not very Godly. Will also get the shock of her life when she learns that her brother is gay and so-forth has to be killed (as the Bible says.) Nice family, but a little far-fetched for me.

She kept mentioning that drinking was bad when in fact if she REALLY knew the Bible she would know that Jesus’s first miracle was to make wine from water in a wedding he attended.
