Deliver Us From Evil

Deliver Us from Evil (2006) is a documentary film directed by Amy J. Berg which tells the true story of Catholic priest Oliver O’Grady, who sexually abused around twenty five children between the late 1970s and early 1990s. The film won the Best Documentary Award at the 2006 Los Angeles Film Festival and was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.

The film chronicles O’Grady’s years as a priest in Northern California, where he committed his crimes. After being convicted and serving seven years in prison, O’Grady was deported to his native Ireland, where Berg interviewed him in 2005. Additionally, the film presents trial documents, videotaped depositions, and interviews with activists, theologians, psychologists and lawyers which suggest that not only were Church officials aware of O’Grady’s crimes, they actively took steps to conceal them.

This man is sick, the only reason he wants his victims to come see him is so he can relive it or something! You can see it in the sick way he talks. I really hope if they ever do go to where he is it is to warn the other people that are in his harms way! because I can tell this sick disgusting pedophile has not stopped!

If proof were needed this goes to show that paedophiles with such avid intent cannot be rehabilitated. The sheer insult of a man who has destroyed countless lives for generations to come as he actually believes his own actions can offer anything positive towards their healing is mindnumbingly arrogant and sickeningly offensive. Such arrogance led him to think he was above reproach and I have no doubt played a major factor in the perpertarion of his crimes against innocents. It is painfully obvious that arrogance still remains, I dont believe you have to be a psychologist to work it out. I can only imagine how I would feel being one of his victims and would not venture to know what they would like to see happen. As an outside observer though my thoughts would be that this vile disgusting human being should put a gun in his mouth and begin to erase the memory of his existance as soon and as quickly as possible.

This man was sent back to Ireland where he is not on any sexy offender list because his crimes were committed inthe USA, what a sick world we live in that even outside the church people like this can go on hurting others. Fact is the always said crime does not pay but for many it does, and justice does nothing to stop them and they know it. Criminals often know the exct law and its loops and how to avoid issues. This man should be in prison and have had the key thrown away…
