Extreme Eats

Put your hand up if you enjoy a good steak, hamburger, and bacon with your morning eggs. Vegetarians kept their hands down. Now, keep your hand up if you enjoy eating dog, squirrel, and spiders. Fewer people? How about human flesh? We explore cultural mores surrounding food.

Man it’s funny when he says animal penis. Its not shocking at all and the documentary uses maybe half a minute to try to build shock and disgust in the viewer. Dramatic music, dudududu, “animal penis”

I really can’t abide these American documentaries with the overly dramatic narration. Gimme anything by the BBC over this drivel.

That Paul guy @ about the 54 min mark, openly admits to liking the horse meat if he thought it was beef. He’d be better off in the penis eating section of this doco.

Sorry, that completely distracted me from my main comment about this being a reasonable doco about cultural differences. A lot of it I’d give a go, but there are several items on this menu I’d avoid.

I’m so tired of the endless repetition about what you just saw a couple of minutes ago, as if it was needed to bring you back into the story. They must think the audience has an attention span of only a couple of seconds.

    Wild! I’m getting hungry.

I have to agree with Baron, the educational value is hard to find.

Doesn’t eating animal penis make you technically gay and zoophiliac at the same time?
