  • Fuel

    Fuel

Director Josh Tickell takes us along for his 11 year journey around the world to find solutions to America’s addiction to oil. A shrinking economy, a failing auto industry, rampant unemployment, an out-of-control national debt, and an insatiable demand for energy weigh heavily on all of us.

Fuel shows us the way out of the mess we’re in by explaining how to replace every drop of oil we now use, while creating green jobs and keeping our money here at home. The film never dwells on the negative, but instead shows us the easy solutions already within our reach.

Released in 2010. 122 min. Director Josh Tickell. Documentary film.

Look at the bigger picture, If not for this man hard work to produce this documentary I for one wouldn’t know there already exist a replacement for FUEL long ago which is overdue. I am sure many over the world who watches this documentary now knows and have a better understanding on WHO is responsible for the environment and the danger poses on HUMAN health and the many Natural disaster happening across the globe. All the talks on THE END OF THE WORLD..looks like GREED of certain human beings is responsible for the outcome and this group of people are the minority who holds great wealth seem to dictate the pace over the majority so I am sure the majority can really take positive steps for a better change for the good of mankind and planet earth.

Who wrote the summary I ask? Because if this is a documentary that “…never dwells on the negative,” I’d hate to see one that does.

It spends the first 45 minutes -rightly- explaining what a hole we’re in, before we get to anything positive. Don’t get me wrong people need to hear that message, and they need to get angry. But when that positive message comes, it turns out to be an advert for Bio Diesel. And to some credit it later goes on to look at bio diesels biggest problem; farming. But, their ultimate answer isn’t a crazy one, if a little simplified, but in the end the message is a hopeful one. Well worth a watch. Be the change you want to see in the world.

    • Mr Man

It gave no answer to a solution, and a waste of 11years of the guys life if that’s what he set out to do as the title suggests. All he discovered is that he can run his van on cooking oil, big deal.
