Why can’t my video load?
If you are looking at a white square instead of the initial video:
1: Wait a bit to load the site.
2: Reload the page (ctrl + F5).
3: Check your internet connection.
4: Do you have the latest version of Adobe’s Flash Player? If not, get the latest version here
5: Please take a look at some additional information regarding the host of the video below.

Veoh
Veoh is an Internet television company based in San Diego, California and requires the Veoh TV software at http://www.veoh.com/download to load its videos. Veoh has been known to block some countries to focus on the places in the world they have highest viewers.
YouTube
Occasionally YouTube suffers from glitches such as errors occurring while playing through a playlist. If you click the square TV symbol in the right lower corner, there should be a popup of small screens. Click on the screen you had reached before/when the error occurred and reload it. If you experience further problems with YouTube, follow the YouTube guide.
If your YouTube video displays the following message: “no embeddable videos are currently selected for this player“, and/or black screen, it means the link is broken and needs to be fixed. Furthermore, a white square will often be displayed when the particular playlist, we have embedded the documentary through, has been deleted.
You can report the documentary and/or playlist broken by clicking the link “reporting this documentary” located above each video.
Dailymotion
Dailymotion is a video sharing service website, headquartered in the 18th arrondissement, Paris, France. According to Comscore, Dailymotion is the largest video site in the world after YouTube. So far, Dailymotion is blocked in Libya and Tunisia.
YouKu
YouKu is a Chinese based Internet video host, and will load slower for people living outside of China. Youku has been harshly criticized by internet users for significantly under par video streaming speed outside of China.
Tuduo
Tuduo (litteraly means Potato Net) is a Chinese based Internet video host, and will load slower for people living outside of China. The Shanghai-based service uses Adobe Flash technology.
Blip.tv
Requires the newest Adobe flash player. As of July 29, 2007, Blip.tv was blocked by the Chinese Government, in an attempt to make the site unavailable to Chinese mainland users.
Vimeo
Requires the newest Adobe flash player. Vimeo is censored by the following countries: China, Thailand, Vietnam and Iran.
RuTube
RuTube is a Russian online video sharing and transmitting service and is not associated with YouTube. It uses Adobe flash player to play.
Yandex Video
Yandex is a Russian IT company which operates the largest search engine in Russia and develops a number of Internet-based services and products. The company’s mission is to give answers to users’ questions. Like Google used to have Google video, Yandex has it’s own site dedicated to videos.
