Places That Don’t Exist is a BBC Four series on breakaway states and unrecognised nations, devised, written and presented by Simon Reeve. The first episode takes Reeve to Ajaria, Abkhazia, and South Ossetia, all technically in Georgia and the second in Uzbekistan. The series was broadcast in May 2005.
