WOW. I wasn’t expecting to be inspired: I’m more of a quantum physics kind of guy. But, you’re right, Benjy. She’s pretty special (and hot, legs or not!)

I think she might be the only woman to wear those shoes without a negative effect on her joints and posture.

very true a slim attractive intelligent woman like her may well be able to have this rich and varied life, people make legs for her to gain publicity through photo shoots, fashion shows ect and both parties will earn money. a less atractive non athletic woman with no legs dosnt stand a chance. probably having to scrimp and save for a bog standard set of prostetics and will find her life hindered by disability.

Why does it have to do with attraction and athletics? Yes, that is incentive for sponsors but how about intelligence? A smart person with courage will find a way if they can earn enough money. It is a disadvantage but she is talking about not being a victim. She even segues that it is an advantage.

if…some poor ugly woman born in to destitution doesn’t stand a chance, no one would likely hand her the opportunity this lovely lady was handed, lets be frank, The world favors the pretty. If she had a giant pig nose, or a muffin top before the loss of her legs, I highly doubt people would be making FOR her, these pieces of functional art to wear around, thus she would be destitute, likely leaning on welfare for help instead of wealthy benefactors, to give her a boost, then where would her “I’m not a victim” mentality be I wonder?.. She’s been fawned over and pawed likely her entire life, helping to shape her positive outlook and self-esteem. I must say, she is the most attractive woman with out legs I’ve ever seen, that’s for sure. I wonder, who did her make up for this stage performance?

You people are ridiculous… first of all after a pretty cool story like this you have to slam her for being attractive?? Little bit insecure are we?? Second off even if she was ugly hopefully she lives in good country like Canada where the government would pay for her legs (not wooden carved ones obviously but functional ones) ALso even without any legs a $50 used wheel chair could get her around any modern city allowing her to get an office job and if she is smart work her way up and probably make more then you lazy bastards. So yes intelligence matters as it should.

Last point shes not that hot but yes she is slim and attractive body which anybody if they lay off the Mc Dics and exercises can achieve before or after losing their legs.

A fat stupid person should be worse off, people who work their ass off and are intelligent should survive. Its called natural selection and are modern world has done a pretty good job of turning it upside down. Ill support a smart fit person any day to help bring nature back in balance.

Yes, but eventually if her message can reach enough people, scientists and inventors the prices will eventually lower making it affordable for common people without large incomes. Although they will probably only need/afford one or 2 pairs. Just like with many other things across history, before objects like T.Vs, microwaves, washing machines, computors along with so many other things were all only affordable by the rich but soon after when these became more famous and technology advanced their prices lowered becoming available for many more people across the planet.

i was waiting for her to change legs

Please …nooooo negativity here….this woman has shown us that limb disabled folk are coming out of the closet and into mainstream life …you have to be excited for them. The opportunities due to innovative products brought to the limb disadvantaged…will abound more than ever before. To see a child without normal  legs running/playing with other kids whist wearing her Cheetah Legs …is a much happier moment for that child than wearing solid stumps for legs…and barely being able to keep up.The point here is that …there are better prosthetic legs  than ever before.. Im elated for all those that can afford such a thing. For all others…find the winner in yourself like Oprah did. Be determined …make that money against all odds. You really can do it with great determination. This woman has shown great opportunity to all with her condition. How do you think this woman felt when she lost her legs? Sad? to say the least. Depressed..oh yeah..to say the least. Look at her joyful manner in sharing this with others. This is a great human beings who cares for anyone in a similar condition. What a life inspiring lil clip this has been for me. I cant wait to offerr this info to someone in need
