really have to admire chris/emma! it was really great to see her finally be able to embrace herself in a feminine way. although with the boy to girl reggie it really seemed to me that the parents were controlled a little bit by him and that it seemed possible that he might have picked up on using gender dysphoria to do this. and there is always the possibility that a boy might want to be a girl because it’s easier, i have experienced wanting to be boy for this reason ( I am a 19 year old girl ) as i have always loved to do lots of guy things such as rugby, motocross and even used to long for that male strength and physique so that i could accomplish these things better and i think because i felt vulnerable as a female it was also a desire to better protect myself because i would be stronger as a man.

i have reached a point now that I’m more mature were I’m really coming to accept myself as a feminine being and discovering how beautiful, positive and strengthening it can be, I’m now glad to be a women, i will still always love to do my sports and will probably always wish to have more of that male strength, but the sports i do can be just as much for women than men, the fact that people often scoffed at a girl who wanted to do those things definitely me affected in this way amongst many other factors, but I am happy with who am now and i think that’s a struggle EVERYONE goes through… it’s taken me 19 years to just begin to accept it.

thanks heaps documentary storm this has definitely helped me understand myself more and the people who are seriously affected by the condition. good luck to everyone trying to figure these confusing things out!
