The Sex Chamber

This documentary examines the crimes of David Parker Ray (November 6, 1939 – May 28, 2002), who was charged with kidnapping, raping and torturing women in a small New Mexico town. Ray drugged his victims to erase their memories and kept them chained up in a horrifying torture chamber in his backyard.

David Parker Ray was suspected by police to have murdered as many as 60 people in the town of Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, in the years 1950s–March 22, 1999. He is occasionally known as the “Toy-Box Killer”.

Ray was sentenced to 224 years in prison after being convicted of numerous offenses involving the abduction and sexual torture of three young women at his Elephant Butte Lake home. His first trial ended in a hung jury in Tierra Amarilla, New Mexico. His trial was then relocated to a small town where he had been raised decades before. He was convicted of his crimes against Angie Montaño, and then admitted his crimes against Cynthia Vigil Jaramillo and another young woman, as part of a plea deal for a light sentence for Ray’s daughter. He died eight months after sentencing, having been held for two and a half years while awaiting trial and re-trial. Hendy, who testified against Ray, received a sentence of 36 years for her role in the crimes.

Released in 2008. 45 min. TV documentary.

Dude its teh internet nobody gives a damn about spelling or grammar. people also make typos all tha time, doesnt mean there an idiot. plus dont worry about correcting people cause our language is inevitably going to change because of the internet anyway, as lanuages always seem to have that effect when our communication worlds seem to get larger.

(plus Dont bother correcting me, I purposefully made mistakes for ironic effect you douche)

I agree. learn how to spell. and the comment was ludicrous. just because we have the internet doesn’t mean we have to be ignorant regarding our own communicative skills.

You’ve got to be kidding me? First off, language changes all of the time, especially grammar. A great example is the ‘ (apostrophe) used when referring to either possession or used for contractions. Before, the apostrophe before the s was used for both, contraction and possession, ex: That’s Jack’s ball. Today, that isn’t true anymore. You would now write that sentence as; That’s Jacks’ ball. If you use the apostrophe before the s for possession, most universities would recommend that you seek out someone for editing help. I know it may be too confusing for your little mind to wrap around on, but it’s a fact… written and spoken languages are always changing, especially English.

Also if you’re going to insult someones’ grammar, make sure your own grammar skills matches with your content.

You wrote : “I agree. learn how to spell. and the comment was ludicrous. just because we have the internet doesn’t mean we have to be ignorant regarding our own communicative skills.”

Correct way: “I agree. Hehe needs to learn how to spell correctly. The comment Bullybeefer typed was ludicrous. Yes, we have the internet, but that doesn’t mean we have to be ignorant in regards of our own written communicative skills.”

How about you stop being a hypocrite and learn to edit your comments. :P You type like a third grader. You even missed out on basic grade school writing rules… You always begin a sentence with a capital letter. Plus you even started a sentence with “and.” Seriously! You started with “and” ? Please get off the computer. If you’re going around insulting peoples’ grammar abilities make sure your own grammar skills, at least, remotely show that you know the basics rules. Otherwise get out of here and STFU!

You’re the bigger donkey anus for posting that garbage. Are you such a useless bag of carbon waste that you can’t use a thesaurus to find synonyms? It’s free you know… just google it.

….Because, as an English major I can’t resist a good grammatical discussion, clarification on the use of the apostrophe =) :

          Incorrect: “That is Jacks’ ball.”
          Reason: Because “Jack” is singular.

FOR COLLECTIVE NOUNS ENDING IN “S”:
Plural Example: “That is the students’ ball.”
Reason: If referring to more than one student (or any collective noun that ends in “s”), the apostrophe comes AFTER the “s”.

FOR COLLECTIVE NOUNS THAT DO NOT END IN “S”
Plural Example: “That is the children’s ball.”
Reason: If referring to more than one child (or any collective noun that does not end in “s”), the apostrophe comes BEFORE the “s”.

          Correct: “That is Jack’s ball.”
Reason: If referring to one person (Jack), then the apostrophe comes BEFORE the “s”.

Don you just love grammar? :)
