The Superior Human?

Documentary that doesn’t automatically presuppose that humans are the smartest animals on the planet. The Superior Human looks at human bias, intelligent life, and our own fears about our limitations.

The world is a fantastic land and man is king. This outdated (and sexist) belief is fiercely challenged. We travel

through a list of highly referenced points, sourced from a variety of individuals and resources, that support the supposed inherent superiority of humans. Are humans smarter at everything? Surely, we aren’t the best hunters or the happiest creatures on earth. What do other species do better? Quite a lot, it turns out.

Worst documentary ever, useless and childish arguments for the most part. Of course some of it is obvious, like that animals can feel pain, but the rest is mostly ridiciolus. Don’t waste your time.

Very interesting and well-warranted. I think the topic of environmental/animal ethics is crucial in today’s world of bigotry toward wildlife. Our bias toward our own dominance over other lifeforms is blatantly apparent in many societies.

    Animal Farm, anyone?
“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others”, and “Four legs good, two legs better!” Maybe Orwell was commenting on speciesism?
