Who Wrote the Bible?

Robert Beckford learned the Bible at his mother’s knee and grew up believing that it was literally true.

But, 20 years on from his Baptist upbringing, Beckford is no longer so sure that ‘the good book’ is the pure, unadulterated word of God untouched by human hand.

For Beckford, who wrote the Bible matters more today than perhaps at any other moment in living memory.

His journey takes him from Birmingham to the West Bank, from Jerusalem to Turkey, and from Rome to Bible Belt America.

Why is there Islamic propaganda in the description? Even the “most educated people on earth” knows both books are equally flawed.

Hm… I must have been tired when that came up, its fixed – thanks!

I wish more people (believers) would think like him or at least be open to learning more about the context in which the Bible was written and how the selection process was made for the final version to come about.

It didn’t take long for the fallacies to present themselves in this piece. Biblical dating is NOT expressed in dates BC, and AD as they are now, but during the reign of various kings. Don’t take my word for it, open it up and see for yourself. Eleven minutes in, and this piece of propaganda exposes itself!
